CAR-T therapy studies for colorectal cancer

Hello All,
My husband has metastatic colorectal cancer. We are 3 years in. He has had remarkable success with his treatments chemotherapy. For the first time in 3 years, his disease is no longer stable. In the most recent CT, they detected 3 very small spots on his lung. They are very small, but since they are new, they mark a new point in our process. Our oncologist has given us several options and says he still considers my husband to be doing very well with this therapy. He is adding in an additional drug. He has shared with us that down the road, he is very excited about recent success with CART therapy for metastatic colorectal patients. In the past, lymphomas have responded to this therapy but not colorectal. However, in the past year or so, that has changed and they are seeing success in colorectal cases. He is very encouraged. Does anyone have experience with this?
