Minutes before surgery, I was asked if I wanted my prostate back.
Apparently that's a thing.
It was such a bizarre question, I said yes. I even had to sign a form for it.

Now they've reneged on the deal.
Boooooo. I was gonna hang it outside my office, to scare people away.

After a prostatectomy, they have to do a complete analysis of the tissue to figure out what really the Gleason score is and if you have any other issues that weren’t mentioned at first. A Biopsy doesn’t really get all of the tissue. It’s just a selected portion. They probably slice it up into thin salami slices in order to analyze it.
