I don't think you could go wrong with any urologist surgeon at Mayo Rochester. I go to Mayo Jacksonville and Rochester is still seen as the top of the Mayo Clinics.

1 ReactionDr Igor Franks removed my prostate 10 years ago. At the time, I was told that he is the doctor that Mayo employees would request. I was fortunate and got him when I requested a second opinion after my prostate cancer diagnosis. I would recommend him to anyone.

I would agree that you probably can’t go wrong with any surgeon at Mayo.
Dr. Abhinav Khanna did my cystoprostatectomy last April.
The surgery went very well. I was discharged from the hospital early.
He called me the night before surgery to check in. He called a couple days after discharge to check on me.
Most importantly, many staff members at Mayo took the time to tell me how great he was and that they loved working with him.
