I need a proven remedy for Peripheral Neuropathy. Help needed soon.

My surgeon said walking, yoga and exercise. I never had it in my legs until he said he could help my back pain with a small surgery. Well it didn't help and now I too have leg neuropathy.

Have you seen a neurologist and podiatrist? You may need a neuropathy blood panel and EMG nerve conduction study. You would need a podiatrist to diagnose what is behind your toe pain (is it arthritis, a bunion, neuropathy, etc.) before knowing what the right treatment would be.

You may also have some spine degeneration that an orthopedic spine specialist would need to get MRIs of cervical and lumbar spine to see if you have a compressed nerve/spinal cord and what the best treatment would be.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with pain. What’s helped me with my neuropathy pain and discomfort most has been Duloxetine 60 mg twice a day. My general practitioner prescribed this.

I found SCENAR therapy to be a huge help. You can Google it to learn more and see if there a practitioner in your area. I’ve written more about it in my intro to this group.

Also several lotions and balms have helped take the edge off the discomfort. Along with putting my feet up and epsom salt warm soaks.

I also meditate (trained in TM), do yoga and exercise/walk regularly. Let me know if you want more info on any of this.

Best wishes to you,
Gail
