C2-T2 post surgery headaches- How long do they last?
Just had rods placed c2-t2 exactly 1 month ago and along with not sleeping g well, have begun to have painful headaches and head is actually swollen (glasses are tight). I had more energy a week ago and did not have the headaches. Recommendations?

@kch Hello and welcome to Connect. I am a cervical spine surgery patient. Your surgery is very recent, and I imagine that in a few weeks you may be having a followup up with your surgeon. Would you send a message to your surgeon's team to ask if there is something of concern here with your symptoms? Some swelling may be normal after surgery, but your surgeon or their nurse would know what to look for. Anytime something is troubling after surgery, it is best to give that information to the surgeon.
