My wife underwent a series of SRS for meningioma whjle also having brain edema. The SRS successfully treated the meningioma but the edema kept increasing. She was also taking Dexamethasone for the edema. The Dex did not work, so they gave her Boswellia. That failed also and my wife died a few weeks later.
Not all meds work for everyone but you must try.

I am so sorry.

Studies have shown boswellia to be helpful with swelling. My wife takes it under the advice of her neuro-oncologists. She still takes a very low dose of dex, but we are looking to wean her off eventually. She also does an Avastin infusion every 2 weeks. We believe the Boswellia has been helpful. I don't think it can hurt. Blessings.

I am so sorry about the death of your wife. A terrible outcome after successful surgery.

What is SRS?

Thank you,
Dolly
