Hi, @mandysfight22 I'm Scott, and want to say welcome to Mayo Connect. While I am saddened to read of your diagnosis, I'm glad you found Mayo Connect. I was my wife's caregiver during her 14+ years' battle with brain cancer.

I am constantly astounded at the incredible leaps medical science is making in their knowledge and treatment options for brain cancer. Hopefully, some of these new options will be of help to you!

If I may ask, what care plan have you and your doctors decided on pursuing?

Strength, Courage, & Peace

Hi @mandysfight22, I'd like to add my welcome. May I ask what type of brain cancer you were diagnosed with?

Hello! I am new to this group. My mother in law is taking immunotherapy for a brain tumor which is now almost gone. She's 92 and still on treatment but it's really been hard on her body. We are concerned with her quality of life.

Hi @achesley, I think calibrating between effective treatment and quality of life in ongoing. It's a balance, isn't it?

How long is your mother-in-law expected to be on treatment? How is she doing?
