Boniva and Fibromyalgia

Hi. About 12 years ago I was on Boniva for a few months, and began to slowly feel terrible, I was in so much pain. Went to the Dr who sent me to a rheumatologist. After standard testing it was decided I had Fibromyalgia and that was that. Soon I was ready to take my next dose of Boniva and thought, Hey, I should check side effects, and there it was, on the label: May cause bone and muscle pain. Told my Dr and she said I should quit taking it. After about 2 months the pain went mostly away, but I've never been quite the same. I'm at a pretty constant level 2 for pain now. It's manageable and I don't think about it much, but thought it might be nice to connect with others in the same boat. So I look forward to hearing from others! Oh and by the way, a few years later I took Tymlos for an osteoporosis fracture - for 18 months. No side effects and improved to the Osteopenia level! A true success!
