Blood Type Eating "O"
Considering trying this but there are a few "why is that an issue for my blood type" related to "how the heck will I live without that" mostly in the spices are
Cinnamon...This stuff is like a drug to me ill use it in anything it fits. I have seen mention of it being shunned a bit for diabetics as it may lower sugar too far but nothing else as to why a Type O should avoid it.
Black/White Pepper...this is my salt! I no salt everything always pepper, even popcorn when I have it.
A bit worrisome about peanuts, my go to snack is peanuts at work and at home my "snickers" is celery and peanut butter...every day.
Just cant find reasons "why" these are considered "avoid" for Type O

This theory of eating by blood types has been out since 1996 when a naturopathic doctor developed a theory where he claims that each blood type represents genetic traits of our ancestors, including which diet they evolved to thrive on. So eating foods certain foods not inherent to your genetic make up potentially creates issues and affects health.

After reading several articles about Dr Dr. Peter D’Adamo diet, while a lot of it makes some sense in eating clean and healthy diets, frankly I’d be starving to death because I would be limited to just a couple items. My blood type switched from B positive to O Positive after a bone marrow transplant. So color me confused. 😂. I would have no idea what to eat because I have 2 sets of DNA and food that’s good for one isn’t good for the other.
In reality, ask yourself how do you feel? Are you healthy? Active? Energetic? Skin clear? Heart good? If you’re diabetic, are your sugar numbers under control?
You’re obviously health conscious and trying to make good decisions about your foods. I feel you should be complimented for eating healthy snacks like peanut butter and celery!
If you like peanuts and this is your go to snack, personally, I’d keep eating them. They’re a great source of healthy fats and fiber. “Heart Healthy” and a good option for people with diabetes because they’re low on the glycemic index.
I know you love cinnamon and too much of a good thing can be harmful as with any herb or spice. There are several types of cinnamon and I found an article that covers the different varieties and also the amounts safe to consume. It is good for lowering blood sugar but you’re right in not overdoing it.

Frankly, I’m just happy to be alive and kicking. So I eat things I enjoy in moderation while being mindful of a healthy diet and good nutrition. If you try the diet, let me know!
i’m with you on that, i too am o negative and i don’t see how i can continue this journey without my cinamon
Wow! I had never heard of diet being linked to blood type. My husband, my kids, and myself are all O Neg.
If pepper were an issue, we'd all have had severe health problems long ago.
If peanut butter and peanuts were a problem, three of us would be in bad shape.
If cinnamon were a problem, my eldest and my youngest would be in trouble; they just love the stuff.
I agree with what @loribmt says: if you're doing fine and do not consume these things you enjoy in excess, there is no reason to stop consuming them. Keep eating healthy!
