Birth control and Evenity
I'm in an odd situation , at 32 with osteoporosis cause by Depo provera I was left without a birth control. I have Endometriosis and PCO so my cycles are 3 weeks long and I'm miserable. I talked to Gynecologist and my endocrinologist and their is not enough research to make a safe decision. Before anyone says "just use protection" this isn't for reproduction purposes it's because my flow is heavy, painful to the point that I can't walk 1-2 days because of the pain. Hysterectomy is out of the question and so is having my ovaries out (due to the Osteoporosis). Any one have success with birth control while on Evenity? Debating on a IUD or nuva ring? Thanks in advance!

I had a Merina IUD for many years. One of the pleasant side effects is that it decreases menstrual flow. I went from normal periods to one day of scant spotting. So maybe it’s a good choice for someone with heavy flow.
