Bi-rads 3 finding, history of autoimmune disease, on biologics
I'm 39 years old and have had rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease since before age 2. I've been on biologics for about three decades, then JAK inhibitors for about a decade. Last summer, my doctor found precancerous lesions high in my cervix (after I pushed for more testing based on a gut feeling), unrelated to HPV. A few months ago, I started experiencing severe pain in my left breast, leading to an ultrasound and mammogram. Lab work showed estrogen was extremely elevated. Mammogram results showed Type B breast density, "benign-appearing" calcifications in both breasts, no architectural distortion, and no dominant mass or malignant calcifications. However, the ultrasound found a small subcentimeter echogenic (hypoechoic) lesion at the 11 o'clock position with poorly defined margins and posterior acoustic shadowing, but no increased vascularity. The report classified it as BI-RADS 3 (watchful waiting). Given my immune-suppressed status and increased cancer risk, I asked if they would consider a biopsy, and the radiologist agreed. Has anyone experienced a similar situation, and what was the outcome?

@staciecardmaker, did you have the biopsy? Any update?
