Auvelity and ketamine infusions

I’m a long time sufferer of MDD. I started doing ketamine infusions in 2024. I had very low expectations due to my many past med failures. I responded well and felt I was atleast in a partial remission. The cost of the infusions made me space out booster treatments too far in between. Sure enough I’m back to being depressed. Furthermore the ketamine treatments seem to be less effective when I resumed getting them. Now I’ve just begun Auvelity and would be very interested in hearing of others experiences with it. Also I’d be curious if any other people here have done ketamine infusions that was helpful initially, but has become less effective. Thank you

The psychiatrist I went to for ketamine, used injections rather than infusions and you stayed in his office listening to music over headphones for 40 minutes. I went Monday through Friday for two weeks. It took me from extremely depressed to manageably depressed. I would be very careful in using it in early dementia. I would have a long discussion with the psychiatrist about this.
