Autoimmune atrophic gastritis, chronic fatigue & SIBO

I had C. Diff then got SIBO. Took Vancomysin for 5 weeks for the c.diff and Xifaxan for couple of weeks for the SIBO. I also have microscopic colitis. I’ve had MC for numerous years. It causes chronic diarrhea. I’m now taking Budesonide for it, and it’s been helping. I hope this helps some. Colitis runs in my family.

I don’t have SIBO although tested 4 x in 10 years for it .
I actually made them put me on Xifaxan 3 diff x .
I also am diagnosed with gastritis esophagitis , GERD , diverticulosis all over my colon , small hiatal hernia, small benign polyps on my stomach lining, chronic fatigue syndrome, Gastro cardiac syndrome, IBS- D .
10 years chronic getting a lot worse. Tried everything you can think of . Many Gastro Dr’s , many tests , even the The holistic route and elimination diets . Every supplement for gut health. Now I can barely eat anything. I starve most all day and only eat healthy dinner at 5:30 pm . Then it all starts again .
I don’t sleep well even on sleep med . I deep wet belch over 1000 x day . I’m running out of options. So I don’t know how to help but say , maybe you can find a really good GI Dr. unlike me ( I even tested at Mayo Clinic). I take anti anxiety meds now because it’s so hard to do anything and live like this. Started 53 now I’m 63 .

So sorry you’re going through this. Sounds absolutely awful and untenable. Thank you for sharing with me and others. I’m hoping the chronic fatigue education I’m taking through Mayo and the antibiotics for SIBO help. I haven’t been satisfied as of yet with the GI’s I’ve seen. I’ve also tried elimination diets and seen various integrative docs and CAM. It’s so frustrating. Sending you healing energy ✨

I've always had reflux never did think anything of it really until just recently I get the sickly feel of gastro and im instantly depleted that's wot Ithe drs always put it down to or maybe my appendix or gallbladder kidney stones and i always get sent me home with gastro or gastroenteritis
So I began spewing for days having pain which never left and it was killing me couldn't get comfortable became increasing ly then I felt dizzy and I went to the toilet to do a number 1 bit wen I looked down I seen wot looked like black shiny tar number 2 and went to lay back down I then google wot stool looks like that or similar but I was so weak I couldn't even hold the phone to scroll.
Family arrived out of the blue and wen they seen me instantly it was I'm taking u to the hospital.
I seen the triage and I showed the picture of the stool and said this is my stool should i be worried he said not at all have a seat. My ops wer checked and i was taken in straight away Four Drs tried to take my blood not once could they get it. Anyways i had intetnal bleed and I was taken to resuss and given a blood trans fusion told unfortunately i lost 80% of my blood rushed in emergency surgery I had 2 peptic ulcers. I discharged myself the next day and continue the medicine at home in tablet form.
Since then I've done more searching I believe alot of peoples symptoms are to do with a parasitic infection so take a worming tablet and let me know if ur issues have resolved or if any difference in health.

That's me I'm 45 always told gastroenteritis I ended up with internal bleeding I'm down to 49 kg
No one would listion to me. I thought I would check my skin under a magnifying glass and to my surprise I seen black speck on my skin and I thought I would take a photo of my stool to show dr. I could see even without a magnifying glass wot I believe was parasites.
Try a de-worming medication ivermetcin combantrin mebdazanole trimethoprim don't under treat. Solved a lot of problems for myself

Just did 4 stool samples including ova and parasite and full PCR panel that tests 15 diff things . All negative!! So frustrating!!
My gastrointestinal system is so sensitive to meds . I doubt I would try those esp neg for all of the stool stuff .

Oh my goodness!! I know what the starve all day ..and eat only when you have to feels like.. horrible!! And extremely stressful..and it severs your life so extremely.. I got down to 98 pounds..and was just afraid to eat anything.. might "plug me up".. went to GI after GI.. so many different things they said and tried.. and finally last week was the last straw..I was supposed to get referred to a DR for surgery on my tortuous colon ..and I didn't get to see the DR.. I saw his assistant who knew nothing about what was going on and sent me to ER to see if I was obstructed (nice of her to care..) everything was fine.. I called from the hospital bed and asked for something to "make me go" as the pills and laxatives weren't working and making me really sick.. no one called me back.. I read my chart and found they had ordered a colonoscopy prep..going back this nest week.. I spent 2 days in a fetal position , couldn't talk to anyone..soo upset.. and then I cast my care..and I started going to the bathroom 3-4 times a day.. so now I get to tell them that Jesus is the healer!! Not completely manifested yet .. but better!! Wonder what the lady is going to say bout that..Prayers for you!! I can tell you are at a breakdown? breakthru point.. it's going to be BREAKTHRU!! IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!!
