ondering if anyone would like to see improvements to the injector used for Forteo or (teriparatide). How has your experience been so far?

mc27, I'd be happier if that little drop of liquid gold (Forteo) didn't appear on the tip of the needle after the injection, but stayed in my thigh.

gently, yes, that would be helpful if that could be improved. Otherwise, are you having a decent experience with Forteo?

marciaconrad, you probably know that Lily patented the injection device in order to hold the patent on Forteo. In the UK patients are having problems with the devices from sondelbay and terrosa. I didn't see your June question and wondered that you were asking about the device. I was honest, but thought we were pursuing a bit of fun. We are seriously cooperative on this site, as you can see. These pens are so easy to use.
I'm on Forteo without side effects and am happy with the medication.

Absolutely! So glad that it's working out well for you as some have expressed issues with some of the side effects of the medication. It is supposed to be one of the most effective meds for osteoporosis and like that it is effective at building bone density. Thank you!
