As a writer I always found that I have all the creativity in winter.
As a writer I always found that I have all the creativity in winter not summer. As a person too I like winter than summer. But is there a medical explanation for having all the creativity as a writer in winter not in summer ? In other words I can write stories easily and get new ideas easily in winter but I can't in summer so I have to wait with some ideas to the next winter.
I live in Egypt where winter weather is between 20 and 10 Celsius and winter between 35 and 45 Celsius.

samynabeel, I too am a writer and find that I too write the most and best in the winter. I think it's because we tend to be more still in the winter. If you are not inspired...you can't write. You cannot force writing. My last writing was done last week for the first time in a while. I have been sick with asthmatic bronchitis & pneumonia, there again, stillness. When the words come, I can't wait to get to the computer and type out my thoughts, poems, stories or devotional. If you don't write it down soon, it's gone! I wish you the best in your future writing endeavors. Blessings & Prayers....
@samynabeel Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! You pose an interesting observation and question! Frankly I had never thought much about it.
I am a writer by passion, and always have paper/pen, or keyboard near me. I write when the mood strikes, or the thought occurs. Right now I have a project due in less than 10 days, and need to get the words outta my head and record them. I rarely do much editing, rather formulating things internally. My poetry simply comes out, as do the essays and observations.
As for the season affecting our writing, perhaps it is the cyclical feel of the seasons, the coolness prompting hibernation like animals do, a slow down of activity, a "turning inward". What do you think?
