Artemisinin

Posted by shortie0650 @shortie0650, Apr 7, 2022

Has anyone ever taken or know anyone that has taken Artemisinin in place of Tamoxifen or the aromatase inhibitors? I am going to look into it, but was wondering if anyone had anything to share about it.

@shortie0650, artemisinin is not a replacement for Tamoxifen or the aromatase inhibitors ( anti-estrogen therapy). Research about the effectiveness of artemisinin as a cancer-fighting treatment is in early stages.

"There have been just a few small clinical trials that looked at artemisinin’s role in treating cancer. What research has been done used artemisinin in conjunction with normal cancer care, not as an alternative. We need more research to know for sure if it can help. So far, those small studies have some experts feeling optimistic about its potential role as a treatment for some types of cancer."

This study talks about combining artemisinin with other conventional treatments for estrogen-sensitive tumors.
