Artemisia annua coffee

Wondering if anyone is involved with this study, and if so, what is your experience so far?

ArtemiCafe® Decaf is currently being evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical trial at the Markey Cancer Center, focusing on its potential as a maintenance therapy for prostate cancer patients. This trial aims to determine if Artemisia annua decaffeinated coffee can lower prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels in men with biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer after localized therapy.

I read some people take it for prostatitis, but it takes awhile to act. It also has some cox-2 anti-inflammatory properties. I don't know of any other purpose, other than infections and so on.

I hadn't heard about coffee. It is sold as liquid (not coffee) to add from a dropper usually. Sometimes called as "sweet wormwood", which is a totally differing product than just plain "wormwood". If you buy it, buy a pure one, I have used it just a little in past. Sold wherever vitamins are ordered, but don't mix up wormwood and sweet wormwood.

Thanks for posting this :). Yes, very important to use THIS particular species A. annua. This plant has plethora of other healing properties and as far as I know "water extract" works the best and as such is researched the most. I did not include it in my husband's line of supplements but will now give it a thought. Actually, I am tempted to try it myself for some of my issues.

Yes! I have read about this clinical trial and don’t think you can get in still (not certain). But you can buy the coffee that comes in pods that are dosed. The study has people drinking 3 cups of the decaf a day. They have studied it with Ovarian Ca and now starting with PCa. The trial is for BCR and prior to ADT. That’s not us now, but I almost bought a small Keurig just to try this - it’s like $25 for 30 pods. Probably can’t share links here but the studies are out there too. Would love to hear from anyone trying it.
