I believe I've read that cancerous lumps in the breast are usually NOT painful. However, you have listed several concerns, and it seems to me it would be best to see a doctor for a checkup at least. Is that an option for you?

@meomi69 welcome to connect, I am glad you found us. If this is breast cancer it can definitely be deadly, but that is kind of premature. I know they say they are not supposed be painful if they are breast cancer, and maybe that is usually true, but there are entire conversations here with women who disagree. For the record my lump was painful, as was my nipple for a year before I noticed the lump.
Since your lump is painful and you have pain other places I would try and get in to see someone as soon as you can. Better safe than sorry, right.
Do you have a regular primary care provider?

Meomi69,
Please, please go get checked. My neighbor has a 48 year old healthy, male friend who had a lump on his nipple. He went to a doc to get it checked and this doctor told him it was fine and did nothing. And it was breast cancer…Fast forward 2 years later and it has spread into his bones and he is not doing well. If the doctor you see says you do not need further treatment, please get a second opinion!

I had a friend who ignored a lump on his cheek which grew to melon size . Fortunately it turned out not to be cancer but he still spend a week in hospital getting treated . So any lump on your body that does not occur from a sting or bite should be checked out !
