Yes, as a supplement, but I can't say my DEXA was any better. I purchased mine from Dr McCormick called collagen-pep. I will continue to use as a supplement. I trust he's done his homework on this product.🥰
Yes. Fortibone is in Whole Body Collagen by Designs for Health which is what my nutritionist recommended. It's has the same amount as in Dr. McCormick's collagen. I just started using this so I can't say the effect on the DEXA. But I'm feeling better (from fracturing a vertebra in January) although I take so many additional supplements now (magnesium, calcium, K2, extra D) that I don't really know what's helping me feel better.
I’m waiting the arrival of Bone Health Collagen Peptide powder. Will let you know what I think.
Also, I started to wear a weighted belt on my walks and jogging a bit too to help build my bone density by the heavier impact.
Anyone else have opinions on this?
I am osteopenia borderline , left femoral hip bone slightly worse.
Never broke a bone.
Almost a 74 years active women. Not taking prescription medication yet. Trying not to. I do take Magnesium, Vitamin D, and 600 mg plant base calcium. Rest from diet.
I have used Keith McCormick OsteoNaturals Collagen-Pep (Fortibone/Gelita) for 1 1/2 years. I think it helps. I read that the longer you use it (5 years) the better the results are.
There is another link on this forum with more information, "Fortibone for Osteoporosis"
I will include the last two results of my Dexa scans which lead me to believe Fortibone helps.
I am 74 yrs. I did not start Fortibone until 6 mos after my 1st Dexa. I take no other supplement other than Vit D and I do not take a calcium supplement. I get about 500 mg of calcium from foods. I am not sure how helpful this post is since I am in osteopenia.

Hi, my worst score was -3.1 my hip -2.8 my last DXA was early this yr. I've been trending lower after trying everything I could. Exercise, diet, supplements, and researching as much as possible. So I'm on the path for an OP drug. Trying to get approvals for the past 2 weeks. Tymlos or Evenity. I understand Evenity may help a tad more in the hips. I would prefer not to take an OP but I know I cannot chg what is at this point.

I received the collagen powder. Smaller amount then I thought.
I’ll run out in two weeks if I take the dosage they are recommending for Osteoporosis. It did dissolve after a while.
It didn’t taste bad in water, but I’m going for OJ next time!
I want to compare the other collagen peptides with Fortibone to the brand I have.

Do you take any meds and what is your DEXA score? The last one you had mine is -3 in the spine and -3.3 in the hip they want to put me on TYMlos

Has anyone tried the collagen that Algae Cal recently came out with? It has Fortibone and Fortigel UC-11 in it as well as Verisol.
Hadn’t heard of it.
Will check it out.
