Anyone tried BPC157
I have done extensive reading on BOC157 PEPTIDE and was wondering if there are others. Research on animals shows nerve repair. Seems to fix a lot.
We suffer from nerve damage and treating it seems to be big business but no one is curing it. Many sister chiropractors now offering so called no guarantee cures for thousands of dollars.

@bobm47 I have been seeing these promotions for BPC157 Peptide, but found a real scarcity of actual human research, so as always, took a look at Google Scholar and found this recent analysis:
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11859134/#sec4-pharmaceuticals-18-00185
Two items of not from the paper noted the scarcity of human research, "Considering the scarcity of human studies on the peptide and the fact that not all studies conducted on animals can always be freely transferred to humans, more extensive human-oriented studies indicating therapeutic and toxic profiles of BPC 157 are required at once. This also includes the need to compare different methods of drug administration in one model, such as oral vs. intraperitoneal and others, in order to establish the effects and make the results more reliable."
And concerns about potential toxicity over time, which has not been studied, but can be an issue because of the way peptides are metabolized in the body, "Therefore, again, there is no convincing certainty that BPC 157 is harmless because, as just mentioned, some of the probable metabolites can be responsible for various adverse effects or trigger a cascade of other events leading directly or indirectly to possible side effects."
I too am curious at the lack of human-subject research being conducted and/or published. Sometimes that means human studies are started and quickly abandoned , either because they fail to live up to their promise, or because significant side effects or problems appear. Unfortunately, not all researchers are diligent about completing and publishing their studies when this happens - they just drop it and move on to another project.
I'm checking out the possibility of using it in my family. A friend starting using them after he was told he would not walk again . In less than a year, he not only walks but works out at the gym several times a week.
I tried the BPC157 for injured tendons. My functional medicine doctor recommends the supplement for nerve repair (as well as tendons).
I had to stop taking because I developed benign thyroid modules. However I was taking more than the recommended dose. I think that more research is needed. (The supplement is also very expensive).
