I haven’t noticed that problem and I’ve been on it for two years. I know a lot of other people that are on. It is not a common complaint..
Zytiga and ADT did cause constipation in the past so I still take 2 colace and 1 senna twice a day.
BUT
Constipation is a common side effect of Nubeqa (darolutamide), especially when used in combination with docetaxel. The manufacturer and medical websites list it as one of the more frequently reported adverse reactions.
MiraLAX works quite well. Even the generic is identical to the brand name product.
Look into senna, you may not want to use it for a long time, but it works quite well with colace. Those two don’t do it MiraLAX will along with those 2.

so I was prescribed Orgovyx and Erleada in July.. took both for about 2 weeks but the combined side effects were too much...so Doc told me to stop the Erleada..now the side effects with Orgovyx have diminised considerable to where my only side effect really is hot flashes..about 5-7/day usually at night in bed...so I asked my Doc if perhaps Nubeqa would be a good alternative to Erleada...have not heard back but would like to get on additional ADT before radiation kick off in late Spt..
what is your opinion/recommendation, Jeff ?? I am very grateful the side effects from Orgovyx diminished after 1st month ( as Doc predicted)...side effects from ADT therapy are no joke...can make life pretty miserable.

Many people have serious Side effects from Erleada. Nubeqa Is much easier on the body and doesn’t pass the blood brain barrier so it doesn’t cause brain fog.
I am on Orgovyx and Nubeqa And have really noticed no side effects at all from Nubeqa.
The hot flashes are caused by Orgovyx, it reduces your testosterone way down and that’s what causes the hot flashes. Neither Nubeqa or Erleada cause it.
I use my Embrlabs.com wave device To stop the nightly hot flashes and reduce the ones during the day. There are other things I do, but it depends on how strong your hot flashes are. I was getting at least eight a day and most of them would cause my chest and hair to get wet and start to drip down into my eyes. There are solutions to that, but you don’t want to do anything unless you have that problem.

Nubeqa is not causing those hot flashes. They only occur when you have low testosterone, and Nubeqa will not reduce your testosterone at all, It works quite well, even with high testosterone.
If you don’t believe me do some searches on the web it will convince you that you are incorrect about this.

I looked at how senna works and it appears to be very affective. Got a call into my gatro doc
I do get hot flashes on nubeqa although they seem to have decreased. I use a fan at night which helps tremendously.
