Hei, i don't know yet. my lung mets are stable as of today. I will have new CT october 9 and should the mets are growing then i will start with lenvima. I am scared because of what i have heard and read about the side effects. Are you doing better now?
Hi, l am so happy your lung mets are stable. I will be praying it stays that way. The side effects of lenvima is bad, but the doctors monitors you very closely. I have some good days , and others not as well. But we have to keep holding on and pray for the best. I have been on lenvima for a month and the systems are getting better. Please let me know how the CT scan turns out. I see my doctor on 9/30/ 25 l will keep you posted.

Hi, l am still, feeling weak, tired and just feel like staying in bed. I see my doctor on 9/ 30/25. I will let you know the results. But overall l am not doing as bad as my doctor said l would. Lots of prayers. Thank you.

Hope you feel better soon. I am still struggling with the side effects of Lenvima. Some days it is tuff. But pushing through it. I go back to endocrinologist on the 30th of September. I will keep you updated.

Hi, the side effects are not very bad. My blood pressure is elevated and l was put on blood pressure meds. Still a little tired at times, not as dizzy as the first week. I have to make, myself eat no appetite everything is tasteless. Do you know what treatment if any your doctor is talking about? I will definitely like, to know. This June my husband started taking a daily dose of 14mg Lenvatinib and has tolerated it pretty well. Keeping weight on has been an issue so he drinks very high calorie “meal replacements”, in addition to his meals, 2-3 times a day. His blood pressure has remained normal. At times he has temperature sensitivity to cold in his hands, and for about a week or so, went through some major joint pain in his hips. He gets tired, but is able to continue working as normal. More than anything, he gets an upset stomach and nausea 3-4 days a week. He has been able to manage it with Zofran.
He just had a 3-month follow up MRI and bloodwork showing shrinking masses and improved Tg level. Also, no new disease progression. All reassuring.
He will continue at this dose for now since tumors are shrinking and side effects are tolerable. Follow-up appointment in 3 months.
Nice to hear that your husband managed the side effects of Lenvatinib. And seems the treatment works for him. Can I ask why he is taking Lenvatinib and what kind of thyroid cancer has he has? I am about to start with Lenvatinib because of my lung mets, and I am scared to hear the heavy side effects. Thank you for your reply.
How are you coping with the side effects of Lenvima? I have 40 cancer cells in my lungs and i am not a candidate for radiation. Too many. Please let me know, and you are in my prayers, too.

Hei, I was confined for 7 days because of bleeding ulcer. I have not started with Lenvima yet. I have lung mets.
