Any success with Axonics after prostatectomy for minor leaking?
Almost 2 years after prostatectomy and have minor leaking ( 1 pad a day) but need to urinate @ 12 times a day. Looking into axonics.

Your interest in axonics opened a new technology to me. I went to my 'go to' Mayo Clinic site here: https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/hometown-health/speaking-of-health/nerve-stimulation-to-treat-urinary-incontinence
It sounds promising or situations similar to yours (though I'm totally incontinent without my AUS 800).
Please keep us posted on your findings and experience on this path.
Best of luck and control.

5 ReactionsUpdate for the axonics stage 1 trial. It was very successful for me 3 day trial and went down to as low as 6 trips to bathroom in 24 hours. My average before was running @ 15 in 24 hours. I had to keep a diary of how many times a day I had to pee, before and during. I also went from a little leaking to basically no leaks. ( I only used 1 pad a day for about the last year and a half)If you have over active bladder I highly recommend asking your doctor about it. I had never heard of axonics implant until I went in for a Botox consultation and doctor recommended to try axonics as it can last up to 20 years before battery needs replacement. Botox is repeated every 6 months. I am now just waiting to get scheduled for the stage 2 or permanent implant. It was a very exciting and happy three days during test with the exception of no showers during testing. I hope this helps other to find relief from some side effects of PC.

1 ReactionNo I do not recommend this product
I am @ 6 months now with axonics and my leakage is still at 1 pad a day. But axonics has made my life better by my reduced trip to bathroom a day. Yes I do still have some days that are not as good but not many. In the end it appears axonics didn’t help to stop my leakage.
