Anyone have elevated liver enzymes months after treatment?

I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in February 2023. Completed chemo and surgery in September 2023. Continued with stand alone Keytruda every 3 weeks for 6 months finishing in March 2024. Six months after treatment with Keytruda was completed and during which time all blood work was within normal limits my liver enzymes (AST and ALT) shot up to 10-15 times normal. CT scan was clean and doctor thinks it could be delayed response to immune check point inhibitors (Keytruda). Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I'm sorry I don't have any direct experience to share. Has your doctor suggested monitoring the liver enzymes? When might you get tested again? I hope you are basically feeling ok, and recovering in all other ways from treatment.

I was dx with TNBC BRCA2+ end of 2021 started chemo 2022, then had DMX end of 2022, with radiation beginning of 2023. I'm currently on Lynparza (until end of this year) and my liver enzymes (AST & ALT) have been elevated but have slowly been coming down so they are now in the high range of normal. My doctor said not to worry and so long as I don't see them increasing and continue to drop I won't worry. Have you asked your doctor what may have caused the issue - I believe my doctor said it was from the chemo and would take a while to return to normal.
