This is so interesting. I have almost no cartilage left in the interior of my knee. Tried hyaluronic acid at Duke sports medicine and it did not help. I would like to try this combination that you describe. If it can help me avoid tkr that would be great. Thank you for posting. I wonder if you would let us know how long the positive results last.
Here in Australia. I took the first injection in July 2023..second in August 23 n last in September..wach 6 weeks apart. Till date Jan 24 I am 70% better. Of course I also do Exercise every day by Physio, Youtube. I also take Collagen, Fish Oil and Ayurvedic ( Natural) anti inflammatory tablets daily..nothing better than your own knees if u are not in excruciating pain. This works for me. I went to a Sports Doctor Specialist., who guarantees I can manage tll 80cyears. After that NEW non surgical treatments are in Trial stages to avoid TKR..Research them in Google. Stringly advice to Check it out. This works for me. I am 75 years old.
Sorry first injection taken in July 2024..not 2023.
New treatments to avoid TKR all over the world are in Trial stage.
Stem Cells. Arti CartiHeal etc.
Till date jan 2025...sorry for Typos as I am replying on my phone
Another thing I read about is the Misha knee..as you say your interior cartilage is gone. Research this
Very encouraging and thanks again
I went to Duke University sports medicine dept. to inquire about cartiheal but not a candidate so I am glad to hear about your success with the three injections
Keep on Keeping On..New Breakthroughs are always progressing. Good Luck
Thanks. I am on the case!!
I had two injections; one was cortisone and the other was a gel. Both were extremely painful for me. Enough so that I couldn't even consider another. I'm wondering if anyone else found this to be true? Maybe it's just the doctor who administered it?
