Anyone else on Megace (Megestrol)?

I guess I'm just cranky and hard to please. I'm on ADT, so the Megace is to stop the hot flashes. It's working. But the trouble is, we're in a really cold stretch of winter, so I keep turning up the thermostat.

The most economical option for me would be to take Megace during the summer, so I could save on AC costs, then stop taking it in the winter, so I could save on heating bills.

hot flashes vs. cold flashes...

The Embrlabs.com Wave 2 can send either heat or cooling to your body, depending on which button you push. That might allow you to take Megace all the time. I use it to reduce or stop my hot flashes.

Hmmm, that's an interesting looking product. I'd never heard of it.

I still think we could market this Megace as a method of lowering heating and cooling bills.
Interested? Send me $19.99 by midnight tonight....

I saw a review that was not great on the Wave, but damn if I don't trust @jeffmarc 's opinion way more! In any case, you can rent one on their site for $20/month so seems like a small fee for the chance to try it out (I'm sure the wife will too).

If you buy the wave device you can use it for 60 days and get a refund if you don’t’t like it. That way you can see if it works for you for less than $20.

Configuring the device can be confusing, but you can configure the buttons ideally for your needs. If you have a problem send me a private message and I can help.
