Anyone else have RFA of benign nodule on thyroid?

I had radio frequency ablation of a benign nodule on my thyroid last Thursday at Mayo. I was surprised at the intensity of this procedure and the amount of discomfort I'm still experiencing 5 days later. Everything I was told and read stated I would be good to go after a day or so. My neck and throat are still sore and it is uncomfortable to swallow food. Just hoping someone has been in this same boat so I stop worrying that something is wrong! Appreciate any insight you may have to share!
