Anyone on Pluvicto (Lu 177), a new drug for prostate cancer?

So far, Pluvicto has only some positive effect after 4 treatments.

He was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer a little over 4 years ago. He has had several rounds of chemo and radiation. Given his treatment history and disease status the docs thought Pluvicto could keep it from progressing for a while (hopefully through the 6 cycles?). We were very happy for him to be able to try it. The docs aren't sure the pain is related to treatment but given that it started right after treatment, they think it might be so I was curious to find out if any other men have experienced prolonged pain after treatment. Given that it is relatively new, I think they are still learning about it.

I'm not on Pluvicto but I'm very interested in hearing about your husband's experience with it since it is something I've been very interested in. Did the docs say why they are using Pluvicto? Where do you guys live? How old is your husband and how long ago was he diagnosed?

My husband had his first Pluvicto dose two weeks ago. He has metastatic disease and has experienced quite a bit of bone pain in one location that we know is active for cancer. I was wondering if anyone else has had this side effect.

My husband was referred to Anadolu Medical Center in Gebze, Turkey, which is a Johns Hopkins affiliated facility. Dr Kwon from Mayo Rochester has sent many patients there for treatment.
I have attached the current fee schedule, which varies a bit with exchange rate.
They gave us a list of hotels, and made arrangements for us at the Hyatt House, which was quite lovely with a nice restaurant. Airport transportation to and from the hotel was included. The hotel had a shuttle to the hospital and we had a personal escort while there.
Flights were direct from Chicago to Istanbul.

Can you please tell us more about the treatment abroad, where, how much per sesion?

Wondering if anyone has heard about a production or shipment delay with Pluvicto? My dad was scheduled for his 2nd treatment this week and they just cancelled it! The hospital just said it was a production delay without any further details. He’s waited so long for this treatment- this is very disheartening

We have to self pay for treatment abroad. Getting as many labs and imaging as possible done here.

I hope the scan shows positive things! Does your insurance cover the treatment in Turkey or are you paying for that? I'll have to research AC225.

My brother is receiving his Pluvicto at Froedtert in WI, and his MO is with Aurora Advocate.
My husband is receiving Ac225 in Turkey. It is every 8 weeks, so he flies back and gets supportive care here in between. Insurance works here at least haha! He has his first scan in 3.5 weeks at Mayo and we will see if it is working. Clinically, I don’t see any improvement.
