Hello @bigpappy, Welcome to Connect. I do think eating healthy along with less sugar helps with neuropathy and most conditions. I shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/. There are quite a few members who have started different related discussions and shared their experience if you want to scan through their comments while you wait for members to respond. Here's a search of Connect using "neuropathy food supplements" that lists the discussions and comments - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/.

The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy also has some information on Vitamins and Supplements for Nerve Health here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/vitamins-and-supplements-for-nerve-health/.

What type of neuropathy and symptoms do you have?

I just read an article about taking methylated B12 being better for neuropathy than just B12 vitamins. Does anyone know if there is truth to this. It is drops that you add to food or drink. Not sure I want to spend the money before finding out if anyone has had help with it. I have neuropathy which was chemo induced, and it has gotten worse this last year - moving up from just my feet to my legs up to the knees. The chemo was last taken in 2019 too.

I am not a medical professional, but each of these have been studied for there effects on neuropathy/pain and my doctors support their use. Changed from drug store magnesium 400gm to magnesium glycinate 3 x 70mg (210mg)—this one is much preferred. I do not take any all-in-one nerve pills. These are others recommended/researched Alpha Lipoic Acid, CBD/CBG (also good used topically), P5P (B6 in better form), Benfotiamine (better form of B1) CoQ10, Hyaluronic Acid, B12. I am currently having very painful and discomforting Lyrica trough. My doctors also recommended micro dose thc if/when I choose MMJ treatment. Under doctor supervision I chose more pain over the brain dulling effects of Tramadol on me.
