Is anybody dealing with an angiosarcoma?

Is anybody dealing with an angiosarcoma? My fiancé is 48 and was diagnosed in January. It has been in two different locations already.

Sorry to hear you are dealing with this as well. As rare as it is suppose to be, there seems to be a lot of it. Glad you are in surgery mode as the waiting game is so painful and surgery seems to be the best alternative. What country do you live in? Good luck with your upcoming surgery. You’ve got this 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that the angiosarcoma of the breast has metastasized to your lungs. You ask what treatments people have had for metastatic angiosarcoma. May I ask what treatments have been suggested for you?

Unfortunately it’s still the waiting game. Waiting for a lung biopsy. Radiation caused the cancer so that doesn’t sound like a realistic option, even though high doses apparently are effective , my understanding is that surgery is the best alternative for AS. Not sure how lung metastasis fits in with all this. Is surgery a possibility. I’m sure it boils down to every case is different. The waiting game is so stressful!

Recent devastating diagnosis. My angiosarcoma in breast has metastasized to lungs but not sure if it’s from the original breast cancer or from the angiosarcoma. Waiting for a biopsy. Wonder if anyone has had experience with this and what treatments were used. My best bet is it the original breast cancer, 🤞🏽. Has surgery been an option. Desperately seeking input. Tks in advance

Mermaid, I also had a melanoma after surgery. Still doing well now. Scan every three months, hopefully will be every six if I’m clean after my next scan.

Mine was not in breast, it was near my clavical (?) bone.
It was removed by surgery, no other treatment. But............... I have had numerous medical problems after, including many cancers. Several sarcomas & a second melanoma, pancreatis,
and assorted ills.
Hope we both will be healthy & happy & lucky!

I also developed mine after breast cancer. My doctor spotted it right away. Had it removed last year . Have Cat Scan every three month since. Clean so far except for a large kidney stone I had to have removed. He believes mine is from all the radiation I had after two procedures for my breast cancer. Have had a total mastectomy after he found it.
