Advice on Penis pumps
I am 4 months post prostate surgery and soon to start radiation since some cancer still evident. The mental stress of cancer is bad enough but not having sex with my wife adds greatly to my getting down . I bought a pump from menmd a month ago but not able to get rigid enough for sex and the rubber tension ring is semi painful and makes any amount of of pleasure difficult. I’m tempted to try injections but with radiation and hormone treatments which kill my testosterone, maybe I should be more patient?

Perhaps time to explore other methods of sex with your wife? While sex was way up my list, it's not so much today. Our intimacy is further complicated by the HER2 breast cancer she had. Complications due to her not being able to take hormones. Have you tried Cialis? My surgeon prescribed them after my first post op visit.
You have a nerve on your left side. It will take about two years to recover. You will get an erection. Stick to Kegel exercises and pelvic floor muscle exercise, keep a good attitude, you will be successful, strong wind again!
Thank all of you for sharing. I would like to have sex again or at least get an erection. I had RP with nerve saving on left side only, 44 radiation treatments, and two years if Lupron hormone injections. Stopped all erections. Do I have a chance of getting anything back?
Vacurect. I used it along with viagra and periodic stimulation to orgasm to maintain penile oxygenation for nine months following prostatectomy, resulting in full return of erectile function @ age 74.

I totally understand your anxiety just remember that the pump does work just make sure you use it often and properly. There’s a lot of information on YouTube. Good luck my friend
Thank you very much!
So far I've bought three--all under $35, and they all work. One was less than half the price and it's manual. The other two are rechargeable electric. The one I've used the most has small buttons and they've worn out, but it still works. The second one has better buttons and a "pattern" setting and I like that because it's less work to do a muscle therapy session. The third one, which I just tried yesterday, is manual. Surprisingly to me, I like having finer control over the pressure. It's also very simple. So they all work and I've spent less on all three than one prescription of trimix or three of sildenafil.
Note that I only use the vacuum erection device for conditioning the smooth muscle tissue, since I do not have spontaneous erections, I assume due to nerve damage. At least I have continence :-). My urologist did not mention the use of a VED/"penis pump" for this purpose and I wish he had since the PED5 inhibitors (meds) did not work and caused side effects for the first 18 months. I can tolerate the side effects now and I think the penile rehab with a VED was significant (and still is) in getting me this far, although I can't say that I like it. I don't like working out in the gym either :-).
Hi. I think I paid $350 or $400. If you go on the website from my prior post, you can see the product and cost options and call or email the company to help you with shipping,
