ADT/ARI treatment - 1 month in
mCSPC - Gleason 9 (5+4) - lymph and bone metastasis. Treatment plan is ADT/ARI (Orgovyx/Nubequa) for 3-4 months then IMRT x 20. First blood work 1 month into treatment:
PSA: Baseline - 30.11
7/9 - 0.55
Testosterone: Baseline - 450
7/9 - 10
Seems as though the drugs work. 😁
Side effects: Tolerable hot flashes and some joint stiffness in hands and knees. That's about it. I walk 2 miles a day and do full body resistance training 3 days a week (resistance bands). Hopefully that will keep the side effects mild.

That's great news! No guarantee, but since it's started off so well, here's hoping you'll stay in the cohort that experiences only mildly-uncomfortable side-effects from hormone therapy, not serious ones. After almost 4 years, I'm still tolerating my Orgovyx+Erleada surprisingly well (all considered).
Well, just had an appointment with my urologic oncology guy. He was pleased with the blood work; however, my diagnostic code list keeps getting bigger. Last visit, only the first 3 were listed. Maybe he finally finished reading the PSMA PET report. 🤣
