Casodex: ADT Side Effects and Cardiac Issues?

I had RP Da Vinci Robotic surgery in Nov.2020 I was put on Casodex and in Feb.2021 I had aortic valve replacement surgery.Some how I feel that an infection in my ‘little’toe combined with Casodex resulted in my predicament.Is it possible that this med precipitated my cardiac condition?

Hi @starman, I’m not sure that anyone could make a definitive connection between Casodex (bicalutamide), cardiac surgery and an infection. I am tagging fellow members who have experience with Casodex and prostate cancer like @pwitkin @caballo54 @llmh and others to share their thoughts.

Starman, are you continuing with Casodex? Is your cardiac condition well managed since valve replacement surgery?
