It does work for some people. It takes repeated sessions to keep it working.
I have an embrlabs.com wave product (wave 2). I’ve used it for Over three years now. It’s like a refrigerator that looks like a watch and sits on the inside of your wrist. You could set up one of the buttons for their night mode . Hit the button twice and It Produces cold waves at measured times during the night and prevents hot flashes and night sweats. They used to bug me, before I got this device . When you start to feel a hot flash coming on, you hit another one of the buttons twice and it sends cold chills through your arms and it reduces the intensity, shortens the life and can stop the hot flashes if hit quickly enough.

My Oncologist prescribed depo-provera for me before the Embr device. I would get shots every three months and it pretty much stopped my hot flashes while on Lupron, but when I started Zytiga I started getting hot flashes again, just not as intense as it used to be.
zotmormon I tried acupuncture & it did nothing for me. I also thought it would help my anxiety, but I noticed no difference. Like jeffmar said they want you to go at least 10 times at, $100.00 per pop. I stopped after 3 times.
My oncologist is recommending acupuncture for my hot flashes as well. I won't meet with acupuncturist until end of April due to scheduling conflicts. My insurance won't cover it, but I will meet at least to see what they think. If it works, I'm willing to pay out of pocket. I was hoping that acupuncture might also improve my energy levels. We will see - ADT really sucks
