Achilles tendon rupture surgery and knee replacement.

I had surgery a year ago to repair my Achilles tendon rupture. My calf is still diminished and the range of mobility restricted. Will this impact the physical therapy for my knee on the same leg?

I had a TKR in Jan 23, another in Jan 24, and an Achilles rupture repair on the 2nd TKR leg in Jun 24. My calf is still diminished and a work in progress but it does not hinder my PT and recovery from the TKRs. Frankly, the Achilles surgery is a slower recovery imo.

Regardless, all’s good! I work daily on both knee and the Achilles recovery. You got this!
