Abdominal cramping and pain after right hemicolectomy
I'm 63 years old and last July 3rd, 2022 I had a right hemicolectomy because my large intestines flipped and created a blockage. My life has not returned to normal and I am very frustrated. I have constant cramping, tightness in my abdomen and pain. My energy is very low. I drink lots of fluids, get lots of rest and take vitamin supplements daily. My discomfort is constant and does increase after eating. I've had two CT scans since my surgery which have come back normal. My surgeon stated 8 weeks recovery and a separate gastroenterology stated I should have been healed long ago, however I struggle on a daily basis. Looking for any diet, supplement etc. Advice that could improve my health.
