67-year-old white female former heavy smoker former vocal cord cancer survivor had a colonoscopy six polyps were found ranging in all sizes several 8 mm and 9 mm my doctor discussed with me it appears I’m at a high-level risk they were SESSILE polyps should I be concerned that he has not discussed with me I have not gotten the biopsies back

The pathology results will be posted online. They should tell you when to do your next colonoscopy.
I had 3 polyps at my last colonoscopy (pre-cancerous 2mm, 10mm and 12mm). They removed and told me to come back in 3 years.
Be sure to keep copy of results. I had moved, and given my age and other health issues, I asked for a consult first to see if it was the case to do a colonoscopy after 5 years from last one. They reviewed and discovered oneof my polyps had been mislabeled and recommended to do colonoscopy since I had had pre-cancerous polyps in the past. And they found three more. Important to stay up to date
