The pathology results will be posted online. They should tell you when to do your next colonoscopy.
I had 3 polyps at my last colonoscopy (pre-cancerous 2mm, 10mm and 12mm). They removed and told me to come back in 3 years.
Be sure to keep copy of results. I had moved, and given my age and other health issues, I asked for a consult first to see if it was the case to do a colonoscopy after 5 years from last one. They reviewed and discovered oneof my polyps had been mislabeled and recommended to do colonoscopy since I had had pre-cancerous polyps in the past. And they found three more. Important to stay up to date

Hi @jordie57, thank goodness you had the colonoscopy done and stopped cancer in its tracks. Have you talked to your doctor about the polyps and what your follow up will be going forward? When will you have your next colonoscopy done?

Ask to see the pathology report. Sessile polyps are not considered high risk unless there is a high degree of dysplasia (abnormal cells) and greater than 10 mm in size. Your oncologist however me just be playing it safe which is a good thing
