Went to Wound Care Dr. today. He prescribed "Mupirocin Ointment" applied to irritated area each day.
Has anyone ever used this around edge of Stoma. Prompt responses appreciated.

Several years ago I was told by an ostomy wound care nurse to use a very small amount of cortizone 10 and rub it in very good and dust "Nystatin topical powder over that.
It did seem to work.
