PNE due to dead nerves. Has anyone had this procedure??
Hi I have neuropathy throughout my body. When I got home I couldn’t feel when I needed to go to the bathroom. And I kept getting UTIs. Went in for a urodynamic test and found out the nerves and muscles around the bladder or dead. They wanted to do a surgery called a PNE. It’s a procedure that last two weeks they wire up in your bladder and have a battery pack. It’s supposed to help empty the bladder. There’s a 50-50 chance I can work. I was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem and had it done. I’m really scared that this will not work. Any advice or have you guys had it done? I’m just curious and it would be great to know someone had it done. Thank you all.
