I have had peripheral neuropathy for years. Ibuprofen has been my go to relief. Recently, my Neurologist prescribed Gabapentin. One month and I quit. Three weeks ago, I left my compression socks on and the source of pain was greatly diminished. A side benefit is the time saved in putting socks on and off. I leave them on for at least 72 hours. Next come tieless shoelaces for my shoes. I bough a new pair of bowling shoes which use them. Just a few seconds to put them on or off. My rachet belt quickens another daily operation.
