IBS problems when going to bed

I've tried moving the dinner hour to 3 or 4pm which helped at times. Also walking for a bit afterwards. I get the impression that gravity and movement helps digestion.

I did that about 5 years ago. I eat dinner by 6.30 at the latest. If I eat later than that then I have to stay awake later and do some kind of movement or suffer GERD that wakes me.
