Anyone have bouts of severe sweats accompanied by muscle weakness

Diagnosed with NETs in liver end of 2022. Had TACE procedure to largest tumor last May. MRIs every three months. Primary cancer site undiscovered. Have had more than one bout of severe sweats with severe muscle weakness resulting in temporary mobility dimishment. Had to remain totally immobile for about 30 minutes, possibly longer. Had muscle weakness and overall fatigue the following day. Always second guessing if NET related or some sort of virus; although, doubt the latter as has occurred too often for that, I think. Any feedback appreciated.

Post chemo I had terrible night sweats. Sometimes I changed clothes 5x in the night. They stopped approx 8 weeks after last chemo treatment. I didn't have any noticeable muscle weakness.
Again, I believe my sweats were chemo and not directly NET related.
Good luck with your journey....it's been 54 weeks since I was diagnosed with Liver NET. Onward and upward, and always with positive energy!

Thank you for your response. I'd been told "flushing" might be a part of the liver NETs. I've intermittently had them. Yes, it's another life adventure. Good to interact with others. May I ask, are your NETs in your liver? How long have you been diagnosed? Thank you.

Hi @lindaldotson, there are few discussions about flushing in the group. See these:

- Flushing after NET surgery

Sounds like your experience might be different from flushing?

Yes but at 1st I contributed it all to menopause but daily I have this shaking sweating and overall feeling like crap for a few minutes and than it goes away. Possibly flushing syndrome
