A little update. No update. So the MRI according to the surgeon reveled "no signals" that leads him to see anything that would be causing my pain. (I do wonder though if they take the MRI while I'm lying down, I don't have the pain while lying down. can they do something when I sit? i just kinda thought of that.) So he said it might be worth getting a second opinion but he thinks I'm grasping at straws and needs to wait for the full year of healing. And likely I just need to maybe more P.T. or join a gym. I don't really feel the P.T. has done anything to help this part of the problem, though It definitely helped getting range of motion back. So I have my records sent to another hip surgeon and I hope to get an appointment made soon.

Good luck to you. I hope your new surgeon is good. It's been a year since my thr. I am in so much pain. Also going to a second hip surgeon. It's hard to find someone who listens and cares. Changing pain management Dr also. My previous one was worthless. When I told him I was leaving his practice, he became rude. He was very stingy with the meds. I kept telling him they weren't helping me get through the day and night. He didn't care. I wake up every night in severe pain in my right leg. I would have to take a pill for relief. That would make me short. I'm so tired of hurting all the time.
