Hi, I’m 68, was suppose to have my entire colon removed in September 2021. I just couldn’t do it. It’s a long story but after spine surgery that took 7 hours my bowels never woke up from anesthesia . I live on an extremely simple diet. I takeB12 shots, liquid multi, prescription vit D and everything in gell or liquid form when a pharmacy can do it. All those meds for this issue didn’t work. I’m doing it on my own. I also have a significant tortuous colon which doesn’t help.
I never eat out. I go out, but I don’t eat. I’m so used to this way of life. It’s about doing it to feel good. You desperately need testing and after the Ct I hope they keep going because it doesn’t show everything. Be your own advocate and be pushy but kind. Don’t settle for drugs get to the why. Good luck.
