don't know what to do or where to go

My husband has been experiencing many symptoms over the past 5 years such as: aches and pains all over, gray vision, double vision, and will lose his balance. He has seen neurologists, rhuematologists, opthamologists, and cardiac doctors. He has had an MRI, CT Scan of his head a MRI of his back and an extensive eye exam. All with nothing found. He continues to decline. HELP!! He doesn't even want to go see a doctor anymore because we just get charged with no results.

I am so sorry to hear you are both going through this.

Since doctors aren't giving you any help, have you considered any alternatives? Acupuncture, maybe?

I tried it when absolutely nothing helped me with stress relief. I'm desperately afraid of needles, but it helped me a lot.

Hi Kelly,
It seems terrible all of the things your husband is going through! And with no help from the doctors! Have you tried looking at the side effects of any medicines including over the counter medicines and vitamins your husband takes? That may be a start. Also do research for foods that could help your husband's problems such as doing a Google search for what foods can help with pain or vision. By the same token, research which foods could cause some of his symptoms.

The other thing that can help but sometimes takes time is prayer. Pray constantly and often. God made your husband and he can heal him! I had bad migraines years ago. It took 2 years of prayers but God did heal them. Even my doctor put it in the record that my migraines were healed by God! I've also had some instant answers to prayers too regarding my health. It's worth a try! Have faith and things will get better for your husband and for you also!
I'll say a prayer for you and your husband.

Hello ,I am not going down the "Poor old you " road ,the only sensible thing you said was NOTHING WAS FOUND.
Time to wipe the slate clean, an decide what, and where you two are going ,Your husband's body needs a project .A hug every morning is a good start . Then .sit ,and decide on a day out ,or a drive out ,this is my choice for an Oh dear me day . Maybe his meds need a good going over ,and reducing to a minimum .I stopped using prescription drugs because of the awful side effects ,that made me feel worse .I use herbs and vitamins .I particular I have two oral shots of Vitamin B12 I make the effort of going out every day ,if only as an excuse to put "the slap" on .Then ,I get into the car ,first decision is ,Right or Left ? this question is asked of the car !!!!!! you two need to think of each other .and the aches and pains will go away .At least you have each other ,I am alone ,and do everything alone.,which is not a problem . Starting your new adventure will be worth the effort ,Far easier to wallow in the depths of doing nothing ........ not a nice place to be ,,,,,I know ,,,,I have been down that dismal road . Right ....... time for a hug ......

It can be very stressful and painful to be with someone you care about who is suffering. It sort of takes over. I might seek support from family or friends and try to get have your own special time for you. A counselor can also help.

And, if you and your husband choose to pursue the cause cause further, based on my experience and my research , some options include being evaluated by a Functional disorder specialist or be evaluated for post covid syndrome. There ate many ways the virus can attack the body. Did he have covid? It’s difficult to get a diagnosis, but if you can’t, treating the symptoms might be an option.

I hope you can find answers or treatment that helps. Take care.

Does he have diabetes? Autoimmune? Post covid?

Kelly, I would like to urge you to obtain a copy of a video documentary called “Under Our Skin,” which is about people trying to obtain a diagnosis for the mysterious symptoms which are often caused by a previously undiagnosed contraction of LYME DISEASE. Lyme Disease is called “The Great Pretender” because it can mimic the symptoms of so many other diseases. It can have many manifestations including neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, nervous, dermatological, etc. Recently the documentary was free on YouTube. Previously, it has been found on Amazon Prime Video. If you cannot find it, you might be able to find a DVD copy on Amazon or through the website of the documentary producer. A sequel was also made called “Under Our Skin 2: Emergence.” The producer’s website is underourskin.com . I hope you will let me know whether you find this in any way helpful. My wife and I both endured a long and difficult battle against Lyme Disease and won. Of course, I am not saying this is the cause of your husbands ailments but I would like to suggest it as a possibility as a non-doctor layperson who has personal experience with the disease. If nothing else, you will be able to understand from the interviewees in the documentary that you are not alone in struggling to find a diagnosis and coming up short on answers. I feel that Under Our Skin will be worth the small price of the video (and can be found for free) and is definitely worth the couple of hours invested in watching it.
