Thank you all for the responses I wanted to give a quick update.

I had the surgery this morning around 10AM. They discovered a bilateral hernia on the other side so he used robotic to repair both of them. My surgeon said the repair went extremely well. I just remember going to sleep and then waking up in the recovery room. I’m hoping that this will help somebody else searching forums to let them know there’s nothing to worry about. Your hernia will never get better and these doctors handle these procedures daily.
