Hello all!! My name is Chris, I'm 66 years old and was diagnosed with 2 masses in my left lung in August. Both malignant, one small one and the other 8.5 Cm, with an artery passing through the middle of it. I have completed 5 out of 6 chemo treatments, and 24 of 30 radiation.
I have been looking for a good palce to find helpful information, and maye, just maybe, I have fianlly found it! I hope so!

Hi Chris (@chris0126), welcome to Mayo Connect. I'm glad that you found us. We have other lung cancer patients here with Squamous Cell Carcinoma like @snoekie and @coryw . You've been though the ringer, but it sounds like you are in the home stretch of this set of treatments! That has to feel good. You have positives to focus on, even with the size of the largest tumor it sounds like the cancer hadn't spread beyond the lungs, and the chemo should take care of any cells that may have slipped by. Based on your profile photo you have family support which is so important too. Enjoy each day!
Have you been told how long they'll wait before doing the next set of scans?
