Recurrent Breast cancer & bone metastasis: What questions to ask?

I will accompany my mom for the first time on her 8th chemo (out of 12 sessions). May you please advise what are the important and critical questions I should ask from his Oncologist? We don't know the chances of survival. The Oncologist has not discussed it to us. I was advised by my friend to check the Cost Benefit Ratio. I am too reluctant to ask this. Moreover too scared to know anything bad about my mom 😭.
Mom has a short temper and eating very less. What is the best food appetizing and healthy?

MSK ( Memorial Sloan Kettering) in Monmouth Co has a breast cancer program. Also Robert Wood Johnson/st.BARNABAS in Livingston NJ and Hackensack Meridian in Hackensack NJ.

Are you familiar with any of these options?

Is it possible that your oncologist is on some sort of temporary leave? If so who would be covering doc? Also you could reach out to administrator of oncology or patient services. Completely unacceptable that oncologist is not communicating with you under these conditions.

But try a few to see where you can get in at earliest possible appt. Book two for different opinions. Check health grades for reviews.
