I take 3 month Eligard injections and Darolutamide. Hot flashes are horrible but I just try and roll through them. When they come and my skin feels like it is on fire and I start sweeting I go outside in the code to cool off and it helps. The worst is when I am taking a knap and wake up feeling like I cannot breath and then I am hit with a hot flash. That is how mine always start. It is a feeling in you stomach and it starting moving up. There is a few seconds where it feels like all the air in my lung escape and them it move up to my shoulders and head and ends with perfuse sweeting. I do not want my doctor to lower my meds because I would rather live with hot flashes than make mistake and have the cancer advance on me. Right now I am undetectable and I plan on staying that way for many years. Regardless, hot flashes suck.
